Patrick B. Harris Hospital chaplain helps patients battle mental illness

Now, as as the chaplain wanders the halls of the Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital, those days — and what they taught him — stay with him. His grandparents and his mother, who was a registered nurse for the Veterans’ Affairs’ psychiatric hospital in Augusta, took away the stigma that often surrounds those who suffer from mental illnesses.
