Chaplain writes book about chronic illness

According to the National Health Council, incurable and ongoing chronic disease affects approximately 133 million Americans – 45 percent of the country’s total population. The council also reports that the daily activities of about one-fourth of them are limited by their chronic conditions.

Author Richard Cheu tackles the impact of this surprisingly widespread problem in his new book, “Living Well with Chronic Illness: A Practical and Spiritual Guide” (April 2013; $16.95). It offers advice for chronically ill patients and their caregivers. More.
